I am ashamed to admit this, but alas I must.  Yesterday I picked up a prescription from the pharmacy and used a loyalty card which entitled me to an 80% discount on my copay.  Eighty percent!  I was ecstatic, but also disappointed that I had not been using this card all along.  It’s not that I didn’t know about the card, or didn’t have the card in my possession.  I simply had not called the number to activate it.  Terrible I know.

As I was scolding myself in the car on the way home thinking about the money I could have saved had I used the card earlier, I realized that stuff like this happens to people all the time.  We have opportunities and blessings in front of us quite regularly, but for one reason or another we don’t take advantage of them.  Can you think of any opportunities that were presented to you that you didn’t take advantage of?

Let’s vow to not miss out anymore on the blessings that present themselves to us.  Don’t be too busy, lazy, unorganized, or fearful to let good things pass you by (I’ve been all these things).  Let’s  do what needs to be done so that we don’t miss out!
